The flight models are much better in X-Plane owing to "they actually do physics calculations"...all the airplanes in MSFS are basically big 172s from a computational standpoint. The systems modeling (you specifically mentioned FMS) might be better in MSFS though - depending on which craft you buy.

Then again, it's been a long time since I looked at avionics in X-Plane.
