To be honest, the only reason why I didn't take the 570 offer was my chief pilot would not give me a LOA to take the training. I was flying small jets at the time and those jobs were hard to come by back then. Also, I really had no clue tha UAL was attempting to build a scab pool to take on ALPA. My letter to decline the 570 offer stated that I was declining their offer but if any plans changed to please let me know.
From what I understood, Jamie did a great job giving those 570 "religion"
