I fly the plane the same way and use the same procedures whether the FAA, a checkairman, a commuter, or nobody is in the jumpseat. Who cares? If you're using proper procedure then you'll have nothing to worry about.
THAT'S all fine and dandy until the guy taking notes does not agree that you are doing things as they should be. Why be possibly put at risk when it should not have a chance of happening. We have protections in place don't be so quick to give them up.
