Republic cannot jump between certificates. CHQ, Shuttle America, and Republic pilots are all on Republic Holdings but cannot go between certificates. Same at Mesa. In fact, when Freedom's 900s were drawn down the displaced pilots had to not only go through YV (Mesa Airlines) indoc again but they also had to go through the CRJ class again, even though they were typed on the CRJ. They weren't qualified to fly one on the YV certificate though. I think they managed to shorten the class a little bit.
