With a pilot group this big, I always have a current MD (Mandatory Displacement) Bid in. We are moving stuff around, converting domestic 767 seats to ER, so there are always displacements going on. There is no way to sharp shoot what other will bid. Be prepared and have a MD in so that if displaced you go to a jet of your desire not one that is arbitrary assigned.

Also if MDed you do not have a seat lock and keep your awarded vacation. This is not true on a AE or VD.
