Another question. I have three internal recommendations along with 10 outside recommendations. The three that I have from DAL did not use their DAL email ID but used their personal ID's instead. Does that make a difference when they screen application?

Also, for those who interviewed and hired, did you prep with Judy Tarver (fltops) or Kit Darby? Did any of you skip the prep?

Yes, When a DAL e-mail addy is used, it tags that LOR immediately as an internal one. There is no work for anyone to do to verify if said person is internal or not. The e-mail addy takes care of that.

Not using it means that "if" your app get picked out of the stack they will look at the LOR and see the internals. The difference is possibly what stack it initially gets sorted in and the amount of time for eyeballs to look at it.

I always tell pilots that if you really want to do your applicant buddy a disservice, be lazy and do not activate your DAL e-mail addy. It takes two min and may be the difference between a call an not.

Just nudge them a little bit. DAL is not telling guys to use their internal addy for giggles.
