New Hire here, starting in the Sep. 20th class and I have a few questions. If you are based in NYC how much flying do you do at each airport? Do certain aircraft types do more flying out of JFK than LGA? I would be a commuter just wondering how people handle getting back and forth from all the airports to their crash pads. Thanks
I'm not NYC based but it appears to me that the M88 flies mostly out of LGA. Trips can start out of JFK & EWR, but most start out of LGA. Basically everything but the 777/747/330 flies in and out of LGA, & everything flies out of JFK/EWR.
When NYC based on reserve you cover all three airports, but able to name one as your primary base(say LGA), so if called to another airport(JFK/EWR) you will be allowed more time to get to it. I think people based out there will pool together for transportation. I'm sure someone will chime in with more detailed info.
