Having flown the DC9 and A320, I would definitely put the Airbus at the top of the list. IMO, simple to fly with a very good FMS. DC9, easy to fly but labor intensive, no FMS, basic autopilot but remember, you're vector equipped. Didn't fly the Maddog but it looks pretty good when compared with the DC9 (numerous jumpseat observations).
