try flightsim.com. They have a large library of free downloads as well as how-to articles...

After I download whatever version, how do I install it and in which version?

Also, I know I used to be able to program on version of flight sim for a particular airport and approach procedure. However, now when I try it seems I am only offered different lessons, tours, or challanges. Tried the fly now option, which at least let me pick aircraft and weather, but still didn't see how to select airports or approaches. Please refresh my memory.

Thanking you in advance/
