Beware of Asia trips that don't transit Narita. I'm on a 13 day where the only place the layover is long enough for laundry is Nagoya. We hit Narita towards the end of the trip, but we get in too late and leave too early to get any laundry done there. I knew Nagoya would be bad, but they just dropped off my stuff and it's 9,170 yen or about $108.

Yes, I bid it knowing laundry would be a problem. But, WOW!!

F. Laundry Expenses
Laundry expenses for a pilot will be reimbursed as follows:
1. A domestic category pilot is not entitled to laundry expense reimbursement.
2. An international category pilot who is engaged in international operations is eligible for
reimbursement for laundry expenses incurred at a layover city if his rotation contains an
ocean crossing and has a time away from base (TAFB) of 96 hours or more:
a. a receipt is required, which must be submitted through the electronic expense form,
and
b. the maximum reimbursement is $50.00.
