When I was NYC ER, they had us DH to Accra, because there was a supposed fuel shortage in Lagos and the LOS-ATL flight was going to make a fuel stop in ACC. We were supposed to complete the flight. Low and behold, they found enough fuel and didn't make the stop. They kept us there for 3 days, then DH us back.

The best part: All 3 of us were on a GS. Cha-Ching!!!
