That is your opinion, and your entitled; but you're not qualified to make a blanket statement like that.
Different people want different things, personally I'd take the JB pay and work rules. I get 13 days off per month, doesn't matter to me how many days off are strung together. Those that commute enjoy the 4 days off, and are willing to be paid less for it. That's great, but you can't tell me my qol is better than a JB'er.
