We've got a ton of former military guys that will be more then willing to help you guys transition to the airline life. I've been straight civilian in my career so I'm no help in comparison, but I can still answer questions about life at DAL. It's different, but you'll get used to it.
BTW, lots of guys play golf while sitting reserve at DAL. It's a rough life.
