Who is the "we're" you are talking about? Who should I clear talking about 1st year pay with.

I agree that training pay is pathetic and should be tied to inflation. But $62 an hour equals about $4500 a month (before Obama) for a HKG FO is only marginally better and could cause us to lose some good guys and gals.

After researching Dave's site I conclude his advice would be don't leave your job in the military or regionals until you have the cash saved (above my emergency fund) to supplement your income as a HKG FO. I agree it is a great idea in theory, in practice though I dont know.
