The company might be the greatest thing since sliced bread or the worst thing ever, I'll reserve my judgement there but either way, you have to be able to put out a professional correspondence to your potential employees. Maybe they just want to see who doesn't notice or care about such errors?
In all honesty, I highly doubt Chuck Jr. will be the face of future Mesaba's recruitment department. I agree, professional correspondence is important to a recruiting department however, I will say I HAVE seen plenty of clerical/spelling/grammatical errors at several other so-called "reputable regionals". I'm certainly NOT defending it in any way whatsoever. All I'm saying is that there will surely be a "changing of the guard" at ColgAba in the near future, so I wouldn't be so quick to make assumptions about the future work environment at Colgan er, Mesaba based on recruiting correspondence.
