Thanks for the compliment buddy. I guess I like to make sure our guys are getting the info one way or the other. I also do not have all the answers, but I generally can get em with a little digging.
To expand on the conversion question. For a guy that is just recalled and going though their first requal training, they are going to more than likely send you though this training even if you are awarded a AE on this bid. AE's are processed in seniority order. What that means is that even if you are awarded a new seat on this bid, it may be four or five months before you are in training again.
Now if a guy is MDed from a previous bid and awarded a reinstatement on this AE the company and pilot crew planning will make every attempt to save the training event and use the sim time for someone else. Of course it still needs to respect the seniority order that the AE.VD and MD's are processed in.
