The staffing min numbers set the vacancies on this bid at 133. 133 + 15 = 148.
Strange coincidence? Maybe. While I hope we staff the maximum and return as many pilots to work as possible, CAL mgmt is not magnanimous.
Of course, there is the rumor that they are anticipating 1/2 of the CAL furloughs to bypass. Also swirling around in the mix is how many on COLA will choose to extend (and convert to a more punitive LOA)?
So while we may bring some UAL furloughs over, I'm not sure I would set a 'minimum' number just yet.
