But seriously, we are well into the process and the MEC's are doing a great job of keeping radio silence on this deal and that is a good thing.
Has anybody heard of any concrete indications how things are going or has the juicy stuff not been laid on the table yet?

The only definitive thing that has been stated is that five sections were agreed to. All other sections have been presented or are close to being presented. The company is digesting the union's proposals, but they are still meeting three out of four weeks each month.
That's it. Nothing else to report as there has not been a negotiations update portion of our weekly MEC News for the past two weeks. Anyone who says they "know" what is going on at the table is smoking something I'll try the day I retire. Someone told me they flew with "a negotiating guy" who told him what was going on at at the table. I called BS on that because he was trying to stir the pot for sure.
