I don't think ryan1234 answered your question about applying to a civilian employer.

I think that you were trying to ask that you are not technically in pilot training and are a traditional guard member and have been sworn in as a e-3 to get paid and get the paperwork rolling...

I would say the following to you... If you are trying to put a resume in for a civilian pilot job, then definately include that you are in the military. You can only put that you are an E-3 for now. Don't get caught lying, rather explain your situation in the cover letter or in some remarks, or if you get an interview explain yourself.

You are going to be promoted to E-5 at AMS, and then commissioned to O-1 later. Listen, you are probably not on continuos orders from what I read. You are going to be put on school orders most likely when you start AMS, and continue on orders till you are complete up to and including seasoning training back at your home unit. What Airframe? That will depend how long your orders go, so once you are headed to AMS, you will not have time to most likely apply and interview.

I am assuming that you are trying to get a ailrline job then go on military leave after getting hired, to start building seniority... This works few times since most airlines will pull the in probation phase... Just make sure you don't lie/bend/stretch the truth, and burn a bridge...

Good Luck!
