We agree on government being too large and intrusive, but disagree on nearly all else. I do not agree that our fight against jihad is just senseless reciprocal violence, and I certainly don't agree that the world has gone jihad because it implies equivalence between actions of the civilzed world and the actions of jihadists.

Your thought process is actually a lot more conventional than you know. You believe in everything, and nothing - at the same time. Then assert that others lack interpretation processes when you need to walk a silly comment back. I see this thought process most in the left wing halls of academia, but you do present a touch of libertarianism - which is good.
