If you get in early, chances are you will have your choice of base. This doesn't necessarily mean you will skip reserve. Keep in mind that seniority list integration still has to take place and has the potential to keep newhires low on the totem pole for some time.

Don't come to Pinnacle expecting to be on reserve for little or no time. We have first officers who have been on reserve for 2-3 years now and all feel they have paid their dues. This is not to say we would like to see you sit reserve for just as long, but just to be somewhat sensitive over your expectations.
