Any info will be highly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
Most people go either to Astoria or Kew Gardens.

Astoria is RIGHT there..you can practically walk to LGA from there, otherwise a short bus hop (i think .75 each way..maybe a dollar..it's been a few years since i was based in JFK)

Kew Gardens is nicknamed Crew Gardens..there are a ton of transport options.

Cheap way (and slowest)..is the MTA of course (approx 1 hr)
walk to Kew Gardens station (or take the Q10 bus) to catch the subway..and take the E/F train inbound to Jackson Heights/Roosevelt Ave. Then walk across the street to the bus depot and get on the Q33 bus..drops your off right in front of the DL terminal (possibly the big one, not sure I always got off there..there's another bus that's free provided by the port authority that brings you to the different terminals).

Quick / moderately expensive...Q-Runner from Kew Gardens. (718-846-4900) (approx 20 minutes depending on traffic)
Picks up right at the corner of Lefferts Ave and Metropolitan. Brings you directly to whatever terminal you want. Cost is 11 bucks I think.

Quick / expensive..Kew Cab(718-846-6666). (approx 20 minutes depending on traffic)
Cost is 18 dollars..will bring you direct by yourself (or if you call and tell them you're with others..you can split the cost) to either JFK or LGA. Make sure, if you have people with you, to tell them on the phone..otherwise you all pay 18. This is your fastest option between JFK and LGA....with no traffic, you can get between the two in 15 minutes..so if you're commuting to JFK and need to get to LGA post haste...this is a good bet if you have 20 bucks.

The MTA is 24/7..the Q-runner stops at around 11 I think..and the Kew Cab is about the same.

Kew Gardens is a good area, I never had any problems walking around at 4 am. Tons of crews there.

Astoria is nice, you might pay more there..but it's far more convenient to LGA (just west of it).

That's all I got..hope it helps!

G'luck!
