my numbers for profit sharing are based off of the Negotiators Notepad on the DALPA website.

Super quick version: DAL pilots make up about 1/3 of the "non-merit pool" employees (i.e. non-management).

Therefore we get about $86.67 Million to divide among the pilots.

If the "average" pilot makes about $140k (that is my number, its a total WAG). Multiply that by about 11000 active pilots.

Take your "total pilot payroll" number and divide that by the 86.67 mil and you get about 5.5-6.5% range with room for error in estimates.

That is how I arrived at my number. YMMV.
