Looks like the 777-200 comes in 3 different MTOGWs. All less than the MD-10-30.

FWIW (not much) I heard the MD-11s (8) were already cargo jets which is what makes them so economical to buy. I.E. no conversion costs. That said, it looks like Lufthansa has 4 parked at Victorville and Transmile has 4 parked at the Kuala Lumpur downtown airport. Coincedence? Smoke screen? All I really know is that a UN soldier landed in my back yard in a black helicopter and whispered this info to me. And that's all she wrote!
