Food for thought for Regional Pilots
THINGS THAT GIVE REGIONAL PILOTS A BAD NAME...
I was in the 767 jumpseat with UAL today and the captain made a wise observation:
"Some regional guy told me that flying an RJ was better than his job before. He worked in a factory before he was a pilot."
"When I was young, I considered either being a pilot or a doctor and those two were comparable. I chose to be a pilot because this was a respectable profession. Now, RJ pilots compare it to factory work. That is what fuels the race to the bottom."
Food for thought....
