Hopefully, someone knows how to dig up the numbers on that. It should be relatively easy to find DCI block hours, number of aircraft, number of pilots, etc. prior to the date Lee Moak took office and compare it with those same numbers today. I honestly don't know where to find that data.

All I know is I have seen a massive explosion in the number of RJ's on the ramps, expansion in the number of gates they occupy, and the replacement of city pairs that used to be exclusively or almost exclusively served by mainline and are now exclusively or almost exclusively served by RJ's.

Maybe my eyes are deceiving me, but the numbers should tell the story. You just have to make sure you are using numbers that tell the whole story, not just part of it.
