I'm not quite following you, but I was simply giving the potential new hires a heads up that they will be at the bottom of a 4000+ pilot list. We were all new once, and they may think (out of ignorance not malice) that they will be part of the integration involving the folks on property prior to August 4th, and they won't. This has already been agreed to by both MEC's and will be signed this month by Brad Holt and company as part of the transitional agreement.
I guess my point is that you are on the bottom of a seniority list. That's it. There are a lot of high time pilots furloughed, about to be furloughed, or laid off that may want to take ASA up on an interview. They may actually attract a higher quality applicant than the 800&2 of the past -- or even higher quality than the guy sitting to the left of them.

Your post just seems to want to discourage people from applying not encourage them. Here's an example of what I mean: on another forum of this website there is a post that begins with, "I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but...". Well, obviously, the poster actually did not mind being the bearer of bad news or he/she would have kept their keyboard idle.

Sincerely, apologies for my sarcasm.
