Better way to put that is two good pilot groups coming together. I dont know enough about ASA management but the past year with XJT management has been a fiasco. Remember that snowstorm mid February 2010 that hit NY? That is when the wheels fell off and no one cared enough to put them back on.
I really liked XJT but it had a very poor outlook for the future, just recently started treating its employees like they were garbage, and management completely stopped communicating with the average joe flying the line.
I am looking forward to a management that actually cares again and can be competitive.
