Hopefully (probably not) this will will remind people of the importance in a well rested, properly trained and experienced flight crew. You can't just learn how to keep cool and make the right choices resulting in an a favorable outcome because you went to Embry Riddle. Sure that helps but we all know it takes more than that. I can think of many guys I have flown with in the past that had they been flying, the result would have been questionable. Jack is a good guy and deserves the kudos he gets.

Fortunately for him, anything aviation related that happens in NYC is largely in the spotlight. I'm sure he will feel appreciated in the weeks to come.
