Isn't it a federal offense to disobey a crewmember in the performance of their duty and isn't it a requirement that all electronics be in the "off" position for takeoff and landing? As long as the rules require devices to be off, the feds need to enforce them, they should go after this guy trying to get his 15 minutes of fame.
Thats exactly what i was referring too earlier. Its taking away from the good job of the crew by talking about it, but passengers are so quick to get on our butts for anything we do wrong. One quick look on you tube or airliners.net will show that no one listens to this rule, but if you are going to enforce the rules on us, you have to enforce the rules on the passengers. Its bad enough for our flight attendants that they don't listen during a normal flight, but during an emergency landing, filming the event so you can talk to larry king is not a priority.
