As one of the few females on the forums, I say give it another chance. What kind of funny sound did she make? I am sure even Boeing does not recommend ejection when you hear a little sound. If every airframe was ditched because of a funny sound, then we won't have many planes left.

No checklist on earth says eject without going through more evaluation and introspection.

So speaking as a lawyer, what evidence do you have that ejection is the right course to take at this time? Could it be pilot error instead?
