My second question here is, let's just say that the DOT/DOJ still refuse to give in. Time is money, and if they can drag this issue out in federal court over the next two years it will severely hamper abilities to compete in the NYC market during this time period.

What is the endgame here with the respect to the lawsuit. Will the DOT be forced to merely approve the deal under court mandate, or will the DOT be obligated by some type of fiscal restitution to DAL and LLC.
If the latter is the case, will that case have to be tried separately under a lawsuit?

Maybe some of the legal buffs on here have a better take on this one.
