I never understood why DL is the only carrier to have 'travel days' for their employees..well, regional employees anyways..used to be for ready reserves now they receive unlimited. If anything, one would think parents would be the ones limited on transoceanic travel but the DCI employees who actually wear the uniform, represent DL's image and often work the ticket counter AND ramp for less pay would at least be allowed to enjoy their hard-earned travel benefits without the worry of using that one yearly transoceanic pass. It was the policy at one time if you exceeded the initial 3, you'd be not only penalized but subject to disciplinary action...
