According to the Furlough Coordinator at United, ALL of the Continental Furloughees will be coming back to the property. I am happy for them and hope to join them soon also. I did not get any training dates or when the first class will be.
May want to look deeper into that. The only thing I would say to be 100% accurate on that topic is that
ALL furloughs ('old' CAL side of the list) have been sent recall letters (09/17/10).....but as far as 100% of those furloughs 'signing' on the line as to "YES, I'm committed"?? Find that hard to believe.....at least until their training date comes to the table and their actually in class.
Either way, best of luck, and we look forward to seeing the 'gates' open in bringing back all the furloughs.
