Perhaps I am being daft, but I am assuming the Available count on the PBT screen is seats not booked, or could it be the amount of people that have checked in so far?

It just seems like alot of empty seats for a flight the next morning....
Could be just the normal slow season, combined with a middle of the week travel day accounting for the light loads.

One of the domiciles I've commuted on is/was referred to as "the hardest in the CAL system". Although I'd beg to differ compared to others I've done.

But keep paying attention, I've noticed this more on CAL/Emp res and UAL/SkyNet. The day before, the loads can be open and the commute seems low stress. The morning of, it for some reason blew up and is now oversold. For whatever reason, whether it's cancellation, last minute booking, whatever. I'm not talking small numbers, like 25+ seats open the night before, next morning over a lot. Talking to other guys that have tough commutes and high frequency, seems common place.

Like I said, Skynet does it, but it just seemed to be worse on emp res.
