Add CAL into the mix with EWR Atlantic traffic, IAH SA traffic, and their 777's and 767's and I think we will have a very fierce competitor.
I don't mind have a rational competitor - it's the stupid ones that kill us. A rational competitor won't dump seats at low prices, because they understand that hurts both airlines.

Spending 2 Billion on interiors, intertainment, and seats is a good move, now we just need to figure out how to get the public to think that DAL FA's and agents are nicer than those at SWA. It's going be be pretty hard - SWA treated me and my family really nicely when I used a Zed fare on them over the summer. I see why people like them.
