To expect the company to come running with everything the pilots want will never happen. They will capitulate when they deem it to be in their best interest. Period.
Hopefully, the MEC's will not deviate. Yes, both are important topics but the JCBA should be hammered out first IMO. Then the SLI. This chain of events as laid out in new ALPA merger policy is a smart move.
Having said that, until the pressure of new UA mgmt's timeline pressures them, I wouldn't expect much movement towards either a TA or SLI.
