Because, for now, you only need a commercial to get paid to fly.

I'd say do whatever you can to get the A320 type if you'd like to go to Jetblue (A320 is the 2nd most produced airliner of all time, many airlines have them, and there are thousands of them flying every day. It won't go to waste).
