Seems like not many have the right information.

We voted becaused the package was set up by SAPA not by the company.

SAPA then presented the package to the Company management and to the pilots. Management accepted the package but the pilots had to accept it also for the pay package to be aproved and that is why we voted.

The package was not made by or offered by the company.

The Company tells SAPA that they are willing to pay X amount to crew each aircraft per hour and it is up to SAPA to come up with how to divide it all in a "package proposal". That is what they did and that is what we voted on.

We did not vote against the company. We voted againt how SAPA divided the money in the package they (SAPA) presented to us.

What happends now is that SAPA has to go back and divide the money in a more fair way. A way that will be accepted by more than 50% of the pilots.

It is not a matter of asking the company for more money it's a matter of telling the senior pilots within SAPA that they have to present a more fair package for everyone.
