That's just from a few of the recalls who've posted their training dates on CALforums. Probably some additional classes in Nov & Dec on through the spring.

I would ASSume that since the CAL system bid was staffed to the "minimum" pilot number and that included positions for all of the 147 currently not on property, that they will have to fill the positions of those who chose an LOA instead of returning to the line.
Last I heard it was at least 40 that are transitioning to a leave.

CAL has some time to work that out and start a process to offer the slots to UAL furloughs as the last recalls were due to be trained in the spring so that would probably be the time frame for UAL furlough training dates. The training cycle would be a bit longer for the UAL furloughs though, as it would have to include basic indoc., and I'm pretty sure the recalls don't need to do indoc.
