Frankly, I am exhausted dealing with the naysayers and welcome the relief.
...and I will sling your gear anytime...if you buy the first round. It's amazing how much posting can be done during commercials in the middle of Football Season. LSUvFla, USCvStanford, wow, great games. I even managed to take my littlest girl out in the PA28 for $100 milkshake this weekend. Keep the faith brutha, tell LuvJockey to come on in, the water's fine.

Aw, c'mon can't we all get along? I don't remember rolling in on you, I just didn't completely understand the question the first time. I tried to answer best I could and I'll even try and expand on it:
1) I think the whole discussion about type ratings, DC-9's or otherwise will become more relevant as this whole SLI thing moves along. It's very hard to discuss any of that without bringing SLI into the mix...and I can talk more about Fight Club than I can SLI, if you know what I mean.
2) GK currently sez 6-8 years for 717's to stay on property. I prefer to say 6-9 years cuz it sounds funnier.
3) It's no secret that SWA PD went through the stack of applicants with type ratings 3 times more frequently than those without. However, many people have gotten interviewed without type-ratings and gotten conditional hires, meaning go get a type and come back for newhire class.

no, it's just stupid spelling (benifit). Sorry, couldn't resist, please don't go putting all my posts thru spell and grammar check, cuz yes I live in a glass house. Peace out James!
