I think we would all agree that those airplanes and pilots are "super" and shouldn't be mixed with Alaska 737 pilots. Or, am I wrong?
Naaaaaah. Any judge with any intelligence would look straight thru that argument. The whole "premium" widebody argument was parochial.. I about fell over laughing when I heard that.. It was a lame attempt to put a bigger label on something that wasn't bigger to begin with. There's widebody.. and there's narrowbody. That's it. Unless you count the super ugly which nobody has on order (thank goodness). I don't know how a DAL/AS merger would pan out. the only thing that would make sense to me WOULD be fences of some sort.. whether it be equipment or bases I honestly don't know. Regardless of how that works out, it will be the middle and lower half of the PMD seniority list that will feel the brunt of the pain because the stovepiped 757 to widebody seniority list would probably be protected. Yuck....
