I strongly suspect that he will not win given what I am hearing. There are really only two viable candidates and the other will throw his weight behind another for the VP slot.
Here is to hoping the other viable candidate isn't "Age 70" Rice. I know he was misquoted as saying we should raise the age, but the ALPA TV clip suggests he thinks we should be "having that conversation". When Prater last "conversed" on Age 65, our lives were set back five years.
I heard from one attendee that Rice recently was recently discussing the possibility of a looming pilot shortage (I think it was at a BOD meeting). His concern was that we should take steps to help
mitigate it.
