1 - yes, in US dollars.

2- REALLY? I guess you haven't been apartment hunting in HKG lately. My 700 sq/ft, 4-wall, 4th floor walk-up low rise is just under the $2700. Add utilities, cable and ANY additional QOL stuff (like furniture ) and your over. Maybe I missed the smiley face

p.s. If you add a spouse and a couple of kids ... bring $$$
