For all intents and purposes, both of us have the same CEO, CFO, BOD, and shareholders. The issue keeps coming up because your pilot group being non-union does not help.

I stand corrected. I guess that answers the reason why the vote that pit BRO vs CRJ passed by about 70%. I've talked to many friends that work there and I've read it here, the animosity of your MANAGEMENT putting pilots against pilots seems to exist, anecdotally at least.
