If you are in the bottom 40% (60% or greater) you can be unstacked on any given month. 50% in some months.

Shadow award are for pilots that are not yet qualified in a seat and converted, or ones going to training for part of a month. (More than half of the month is avail to fly before you go to training) In a full month of training you are paid ALV. There is a lot more too it, but look at the wide reports and you can get a feel for all of it. The trips are awarded with a (S) in them.
