I'm not going through one of those scanners just from a health standpoint. I haven't been convinced that they're not a cancer risk. In fact, some articles I've read have referenced studies showing an increased chance of skin cancer. We're exposed to enough radiation as flight crews... I don't want more! I will, however, take the patdown as a secondary screening. It's annoying, but no big deal to me. I think this gentleman's story has to be read with an open mind as there are two sides to every story. I wouldn't put it past the TSA to treat a crewmember in this way, though.
We need CrewPass in a BIG way!
