As a military person stationed in Hawaii about become a civilian, what are some pro's and con's of each airline all circumstances equal? Both are hiring, I'm competitive for both, etc. I'm 737 typed with an ATP, but Hawaiian's rep is strong for having their act together (life and work atmosphere post Aloha, overall QOL, new Int'l lines and equipment, etc).
Do I move the family back to the US (and vacation in Hawaii) or commute from Hawaii to fly for SWA? Or stay in Hawaii, and choose Hawaiian with no regrets? Once upon a time it was an easy choice.
