Actually that is incorrect. ALPA is in fact trying to find a way to do webcasts that protect the rights of their pilot members who chose to express their opinions at a meeting. Anyone can tape a webcast and then use it against said pilot. Word of mouth is a little different.

This is absolutely crazy. I don't doubt that is what the union leadership is selling as to the reason, but it defies reason. Someone can get up and spout off at a union meeting yet since it is in the confines of a four walled room, they are not held "liable" for said actions but they would be if it was webcast?
