Does the state he is based in require quantification of radiation in the workplace? Maybe we should all check on this. Does your company give you this data? I work at DAL and I have no clue. I see the MSDS sheets near maintenance facilities but nothing in regards to radiation exposure. I know the cockpit isn't the greatest place to hang out long term without growing an eyeball in your forehead. Is it safe to go through these new machines? I don't think anyone knows the long term affects. Why do we have to be the guinea pigs? Unfortunately this pilot will be thrown under the bus. The higher ups at Homeland Security will just see this as a disgruntled employee. They won't understand that we ALL are pi$$ed off but are mostly professionals that don't pull stunts like this.
